6 January 2016 - Hay cambios en vida!

Feliz año nuevo a todos! I hope that everyone is doing oh so well and that everyone had a save and happy new year. We had changes yesterday which means that Hermana Wong is no longer my companion... and I finished my training here in the mission... and am now a normal missionary... How quickly the time has gone by. But it has been so good. And I am still here in Petapa but I have a new companion named Hermana Ruiz. She is from Mexico and speaks no English. Which is awesome because it means that I am going to be able to really really use my Spanish and no longer can rely on Spanglish. And I am so excited for this time to just work work work. To really find the people that are ready for this message. Lots of things are changing here in the mission but all are changing for the good and for what Heavenly Father needs of us. It is so cool to be able to be a part of the work of the Lord and to really watch this Gospel change peoples lives. So 2 weeks ago we found a family in the Chruch. Alberto and Michelle. Well Alberto is a member but has been inactive for 20 years but he always knew that this church was the true church. And so he decided to come back and assist and invited Michelle to come with him. And she did and we found them in the Church and started visiting them and they are amazing. And on Saturday night we had a lesson with them and we really challenged Michelle to get on her knees and ask Heavenly Father if this Church is true. And on Sunday morning they came to church and it was testimony meeting. And after the meeting we were talking with Hermana Michelle and she said she recieved her answer! And she knows it is true! And so now we are working with them so they can get married and Hermana Michelle can be baptized and in a year they can go to the temple! And it is so cool to watch the Gospel change their lives and to be a part of that. And it has really made me realize that we are making a difference here in the lives of these people. And Alberto and Michelle and their adorable daughter Angie can be a eternal family. It is so cool and I am really just loving the mission and I am so happy. Truly just need to lose myself in the work and help these people. But it is so crazy how fast the time is going... I have been here in Guatemala for 4 months! And already I want more time here to help these people and I still have 14 more months! But really just love everyone. And this Gospel changes lives. But yeah... thank you so much for all of your prayers, love and support! Have an amazing week!!! LES AMO MUCHO!!!! Hermana Stewart
