1 March 2016 Time Flies

Do you ever just stop and think about where you were 6 months ago... a year... 2 years... Well sometimes I do and really when I stop and think about where my life has gone I never could have imagined that. Really I could not have. If a year ago you would have told me that I would be in Barcenas Guatemala... speaking almost fluent Spanish and sharing the Gospel with people every single day... I do not think that I would have believed you. But yet here I am 6 months into my misión here in Guatemala. And just to see how much my life has changed for the better is incredible. I have come to know my Savior better each and every day and to be able to help others also come to know Him is a great blessing in my life. This last week we had the misión tour with Elder Duncan. And wow was it amazing. We were in a conference with him for about 7 hours this last Thursday and it was amazing. When we were preparing as a misión Presidente Markham asked us all to bring 3 questions that we wanted answers to in the meeting. And we all did this and low and behold everyone recieved atleast an answer to atleast one of these questions. It was amazing to see. And really it was such a spiritual experience for us. And we learned a lot about what we can change to be better at. And here is the biggest thing that we always seem to miss in our lives... putting everything into practice. But we can not do the same thing every single day and expect to have different results. That is our problem way to often we do the same things and always think that something is going to change. And change is hard... but when we are trying to change for the better, when we are trying to change to do all the things that our Heavenly Father wants of us then He is going to help us. And really we are going to see miracles in our lives. And that has been one of the hardest things for me always... to change but really Heavenly Father helps us with these things and makes it so we can do all that He askes of us. And it is hard... it costs a lot but with God everything is posible. And really we just have to have hope that everything will be okay and that in the end it will all be worth it. And that is one of the greatest things that I have learned here in the misión. And really I am eternally grateful for this chance that I have to be here in the misión and do all of these things and I apologize if I start writing in Spanglish one day or even today... The English is going a Little bit but I am really just so happy. I hope that you all have an amazing week and that everything is so well with each and everyone of you. Heavenly Father loves you perfectly and Heavenly Father and Jesús Chirst are there to help us with everything... just look for them and find them in your lives and everything will be great. 8 March 2016 - Find God in Your Life

Short email this week but it has been a good one. Really can see that hand of God in this work every single day. Just helping us to do all of the things that we need to. Without Him this work is not posible because this is not our work. It is His work. We must do it His way. And really I am just learning a lot about how neccessary it is for us to change and continue to be better. And that is what I am trying to do every single day. We have been recieving a lot of revelation here in the misión. The work of the Lord is hastening... every single day. And really we just need to be the instruments in the hand of the Lord to bring to pass all that He needs. And to really use the Spirit to teach. To be worthy of the Spirit and just be better... every single day. It is amazing to be a part of this work during this time. Heavenly Father really just needs us to be the best posible. Never doubt that He is always with you and that He helps you in all things. Heavenly Father and Jesús Christ love us perfectly. They know the things in our lives and they are there to help us. FIND THEM!!! That is my challenge continue to find the hand of God in your life every single day. It is amazing to see all that He does for you! Hope you all have an amazing week. Les amo mucho! 23 Feb 2016 Buenas

Well this last week was a little interesting. We are really trying to work hard here and I know that if we keep trying to do all that the Lord needs us to do that we are going to see miracles soon. I am excited to just have the opprotunity to continue working here... this área is huge. Really huge. And it has been quite the adventure to try to get to know it a little better but it has been so good. The people here are amazing and it has been so fun to get to know them a little. And just trying to get to some of the áreas in our área has made me feel like I am on a safari or an adventure in the jungle... but do not worry it is completely safe here. And really on Sunday we worked so hard just trying to find lessons and the people that we needed to and it was one of those days when we were so focused on the work that we did not think of anything else... and at the end of the day I just had the biggest smile on my face. As I said a lot when I was in the CCM I have never been this happy in my life. Really the work of the Lord is one to lose yourself in and like it says in the Matthew when we lose ourselves for the cause of the Lord we actually find ourselves and our lives. And it is not easy this life... or the misión or anything.... But with the Lord we can do all things. This week I am really excited for... we have the misión tour with Elder Duncan and it is going to be awesome. On Thursday we are going to have a meeting with him and Presidente Markham said that we are going to spend like 6 hours as a misión just talking with him. And really the Spirit is going to lead the meeting and help us to know of the things that we need to talk about and change as a misión. That is something we are focusing hard on. Changing. Seems intimidating doesnt it but really when we change for what the Lord needs we are changing for the better. And I am really excited to see what revelation we are going to recieve in this meeting with him. But I will write all about that next week.
